We are delighted to welcome all players to the UAE for our inaugural Amateur HIO Pairs Betterball Dubai 2025. Following three amazing Pro-Am events, we have decided to offer a pairs package that combines relaxed tournament golf, a fun and friendly hosted atmosphere with a holiday vibe.

Our 54 Hole Pairs Betterball includes rounds over three of the highest rated courses in the UAE, a round over Dubai Hills Golf Club, a round over The Els Club and our final round over the Emirates Majlis Golf Course home to the DP World Tour Dubai Desert Classic.

* To participate in any HIO Pairs Event all players must have a WHS Congu Handicap. Please Note: You do not have to have scored a Hole in One to enter our pairs events*

Our winning Pair will qualify to play in the National Pairs Playoff Finals for an all expenses trip to the HIO-Club 2026 Grand Final at TPC Sawgrass.

Solo golfers are welcome to book on to the trip and we will pair up players.

£999.00 per person in shared accommodation includes 5 nights in the NH Dubai The Palm Hotel on a Bed & Breakfast basis, Welcome Drinks Reception, Desert Safari Experience and Presentation Lunch at the Emirates Golf Club.

The Golf Courses

Majlis

The Majlis Course is Home to the Dubai Desert Classic and the European Ladies Tour, this layout boasts a world-class course and is a must-play layout in Dubai. The Clubhouse reflects a Bedouin tented village, and our teams are guaranteed to experience the oldest Arabian tradition of all, hospitality.

Opened in 1988, the Majlis Course at Emirates Golf Club was nicknamed “The Desert Miracle” when it became Dubai’s first all-grass championship course. This 7,200 yard, par-72 course is a real pleasure to play, and offers a challenge to all levels; the course record is held by the great Ernie Els, with a 61. Enjoy playing the course set up for the DP World Tour only days after crowning their champion.

The seven lakes and the natural vegetation make this golf course visually stunning, and this extended to the off-course areas. Considered the best of the two Emirates courses, The Majlis is designed around the tall dunes of Dubai and will be a fitting venue for the Final Round of our Pro-Am in 2022.

Dubai Hills

The stunning course allows players of all skills to equally enjoy play of the 18 holes, with a mix of hilly and flat terrain with the lengths of 7283 yards (Black Tees), 6785 yards (Blue Tees), 6093 yards (Silver Tees) 5516 yards (Red Tees), and 5130 yards (Green Tees). The course is set on 119 hectares and meanders through a series of valleys and a network of lakes to create a high quality golfing experience, along with striking views of the Burj Khalifa from almost all holes on the course.

The Els Club 

Renowned as one of the finest golfing destinations in the Middle East, the unique experience of The Els Club is one that creates everlasting memories and should be on every golfers must-play list.

Those who appreciate life’s finest pleasures will embrace this true sporting gem which has been sensationally designed by Ernie Els, former US Open and Open Championship winner. Ernie has a passion for the great links courses of the UK, where he has won two of his 4 major championships, and in creating The Els Club he set about recreating some of these design features in a desert landscape. Thus a ‘desert links’ was born, one that was quickly named ‘best new international course’ by the prestigious US magazine, Links.

Whether you’re playing for the first time or are a regular at The Els Club, the immaculate championship course offers golf connoisseurs one of the best in desert golf!

Players enjoy direct beach access over the promenade and are just a short journey from all of Dubai’s top attractions, including the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall and Dubai Marina. Our sunset-facing rooftop infinity pool with its elegant bar and lounge is the perfect place to relax between rounds.

Please read the following booking conditions carefully, they form the basis of your contract with HIO Events Limited and set out our respective rights and obligations.

All hotel and room upgrades are subject to availability at the time of booking.

A £250.00 per person team deposit will secure your team place in to the event with the final balance due on or before the 1st October 2024.

Upon receipt of entry a written confirmation will be issued.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you comply with all insurance. It is your responsibility to check current regulations and if our company incurs fines or surcharges as a result of your negligence you will be responsible for reimbursing us accordingly.

We accept responsibility for all parts of the event as described in our literature and agree to supply such to a reasonable standard. We accept responsibility for the acts and omissions of our employees, agents, suppliers and sub-contractors (providing at the time they were carrying out work authorised by us). Except where loss and or damage to luggage or personal possessions are concerned, we highly recommend that personal travel insurance is obtained prior to the event to cover such damage. We cannot be held responsible for the condition of golf courses because of maintenance or climate, we will try to keep clients informed of the up-to-date conditions.

In the unlikely event of a complaint please notify us immediately, most issues are easily resolved whilst you are on an event. If the matter is not solved to your satisfaction then please write to HIO Events within 28 days of your return, we will not accept liability after this time.

You may cancel at any time but the instructions will only be valid if we are notified in writing.
