With anticipation building for the 152nd Open Championship at Royal Troon Golf Club, we are thrilled to present the opportunity to compete in the Open Championship HIO Pairs in 2025.

This prestigious event will feature rounds at two of the most iconic venues in golf. Players will experience Royal Troon Golf Club, the celebrated host of this year’s Open Championship, renowned for its storied history and challenging layout. The tournament also includes a round at Prestwick Golf Club, the birthplace of the Open Championship, where the rich legacy of the game was first established.

Join us for an unforgettable celebration of golf at these legendary courses!

All HIO-Club events are open to golfers of all ages, both male+female and you don't need to have scored a Hole in 1 to participate in our events :)

Your golf experience is £725 per person – you can book it easily by adding your tee time to your cart and checking out on our website. Royal Troon and Prestwick Courses

We have not included accommodation in our package price as Troon
offers a variety of accommodation options, Hotels, B&B’s, Budget
Hotels and AirBnB’s to suit all players' budgets. The most local to
the Links is the 5* Marine Hotel overlooking Royal Troon Golf Club.
The Gailes Links Hotel is a modern hotel with a contemporary
restaurant which sits just 10 mins from both courses. Please get in
touch if you would like any recommendations or help booking additional
golf.

All players must have an active WHS Handicap or iGolf handicap.
Qualifiers are open to all Men, Women and Mixed Pairs over the age of
18 years and above.

The winning pair will qualify to play in the National Pairs Playoff Finals for an all expenses trip to the HIO-Club 2026 Grand Final to TPC Sawgrass.
Daily nearest the pin prizes.

Royal Troon Golf Club

Founded in 1878, Royal Troon has grown from boasting five holes to becoming a world renowned links golf club, where the Old Course is part of The Open rota. Located in South Ayrshire, just 45 minutes from Glasgow airport, the course is separated from the Firth of Clyde beach by raised sand dunes and is a traditional out and back links course. The first and last golf club in the world to be granted Royal status under the reign of Queen Elizabeth II, Royal Troon takes pride in it’s championship Old Course, measuring just over 7,200 yards.

Prestwick Golf Club 

Prestwick was founded in 1851, and developed under the stewardship of Old Tom Morris, who was pried away from St Andrews to be Keeper of The Green, Club and Ball Maker. Golfers heading to Prestwick Golf Club are assured a truly historical experience at one of the finest links golf courses in the UK. As the original location of The Open Championship, it is a golf course that features amongst many bucket lists and must visit golf destinations.
